We’ve been making great progress in the memorial garden recently.  The fallen leaves from previous years have rotted down in our leaf bays.  Adding the leaf mulch to the borders is great for the plants, soil and all the creatures that live in it.

The volunteers were then able to put the plant donations from Wycombe Food Hub into the borders. We received a variety of grasses, rudbeckia, dianthus, cyclamen, and pansies.

We also moved some plants and tidied up other areas of the garden, repegging matting as we went.

The weather did it’s best to interrupt our gardening, but despite this our resilient garden volunteers were in fine spirits!

Thanks everyone!
